Gregory is a junior at the University of Colorado at Boulder; he is studying Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, and Integrative Physiology. Greg is working to become a trauma surgeon, and he is actively involved with many volunteer projects in the area. Sarah is a junior at the University of Colorado at Boulder studying Integrative Physiology. Jeffrey Lee, 24-year-old Colorado resident, graduated from New York City’s Juilliard School of Music in 2011 with a Bachelor of Music degree in classical piano performance. He studied with world-renowned pianists including Juilliard professor Matti Raekallio, Steinway Artist Yoshie Akimoto, and CU Professor Emeritus Larry Graham. As the recipient of numerous competition prizes and awards, Jeffrey has performed as a guest soloist with orchestras and in recitals in the United States, Europe, and Taiwan. He is now completing medical school prerequisites at the University of Colorado and is looking forward to applying in the near future. When away from the piano, Jeffrey enjoys spending time with friends, trying new restaurants, playing video games, and experiencing new things. Jeffrey dislikes the texture of kiwi seeds.[/fivecol_four_last][hr]

Aya is a junior at the University of Colorado at Denver, majoring in biology. Although she is still not completely certain about what she’ll be doing as a career, she knows she is going to be involved in the healthcare field. She is inspired and motivated by the idea that she will be in a position where she is privileged enough to have people put their trust in her, and that she will, to the best of her abilities, be able to put their minds at ease. Chelsea is a current senior at the University of Colorado at Denver. She is studying Cognitive Neuroscience. She plans on pursing medical school in the near future. She has spent much of her life traveling, living overseas, and witnessing a variety of medical procedures in a wide range of cultures. She would love to work as a doctor or PA in trauma and be able to practice all over the world. As much as she loves travel, she also loves Colorado. She is extremely interested in anything outdoorsy: skiing, hiking, sports, backpacking… Everything! She may take a year off between undergrad and medical school to work as an EMT for backcountry search and rescue![/fivecol_four_last][hr]

Shalini is a freshman at the University of Colorado at Boulder currently studying biochemistry. She plans to eventually go into medicine, maybe to become an ophthalmologist.
